Being a bartender carries with it one of the most stressful jobs. Bartenders have to deal with people nonstop, many of which are drunk. They also don’t just serve drinks. They have to perform security, clean, stock, etc. Bartenders are on their feet pretty much nonstop even up to 50 hours a week playing host to patrons. What people don’t realize is that behind the bar is detrimental to their health. They are constantly bending, stooping, lifting, grabbing, twisting, etc, in order to perform their duties quickly. It is recommended that they do yoga or some form of exercise to alleviate stress in their bodies and help their health.
