Back pain is a chronic problem with many women. One woman in particular was interviewed for the article and discussed how her pain became so debilitating that it led to depression. Chronic pain can be very severe, but many people are concerned over the current medications that are used to treat pain; most notably their chances for addiction. Ms. Jones, the woman highlighted in the article, spoke with a doctor whom specializes in pain control that does not involve the use of addictive medications. Dr. Linder, her specialist, was able to provide pain relief without the use of addictive medication as well as multiple other modes of therapies that could be utilized as well to help with pain management, for Ms. Jones and others as well.
