As kids head back to school, they are probably also going to be dealing with back pain. There are three main reasons that this is the case. The first is backpacks. Often, a backpack is loaded with items that make up 25-30% of a child’s body weight. Children also will be sitting for long periods of times in uncomfortable chairs, which makes them more prone to back pain. Lastly, with school comes more stress. This stress can lead to even more back pain.
- Misuse of a child’s back pack can lead to back pain.
- Sitting at a desk all day could lead to a child’s back pain.
- Gong back to school is stressful to the whole family, and children’s stress causes back pain.
