I was going to a doctor and having problems with my back. I will list some of the treatments and please let me know if you have heard of them. Please no jokes.

-Leaning into the doctor’s lap while he runs his fingers through your hair.

-Manipulating back by hugging

-Pressing on the pubic bone with one hand while keeping other hand under me and rocking my pelvis.

All these thing are done while I’m resting on my back.

Sometimes I felt these things were not professional by the manner in which they were done. Has anyone ever had these things done to them by their doctors?

They could have been completely legitimate treatments (possible but unlikely) or you could have completely been taken advantage of – in either case if your doctor ever does ANYTHING to make you feel uncomfortable you should definitely let them know and ask them to stop.

In your case I’d be submitting a complaint, asking for an inquiry, and definitely start looking for a new doc!
